You may hire the "Santander Cycles bike system" at the Docking Station Terminal with a bank card or just using the official phone app.
You may use this system for free, just the first 30 minutes, if you don´t, you will be charged with 2 pounds by each 30 minutes since that moment.
There are more benefits for Santander users, so you can pay less money for a longer time riding a bike.
If you get back any bike in bad conditions, you will be charged with 300 pounds.
Finally, if you take care of the bikes, you will not have any problem, and just enjoy sigthseeing London on your bike.
What is Oyster?
Oyster is a smart card which you can use for things like pay the Bus, the Tram, Tube, DLR, London Overground, Emirates Air Line, River services, among others.
In a nutshell, is a card similar to our BIP card, but with the difference that you may use it for much more things that BIP card.

If you go to London, you may find the London Overground, a big mix of lines that go around the country
There are six London Overground routes that, together, form an outer London orbital network:
- Richmond/Clapham Junction to Stratford
- Watford Junction to Euston
- Gospel Oak to Barking
- Highbury & Islington to West Croydon/Clapham Junction
- Liverpool Street to Enfield Town, Cheshunt (via Seven Sisters) and Chingford
- Romford to Upminster
